All homes are Western Red Cedar, Appalachian
log style construction. Western Red Cedar is superior to Pine and
Hemlock for a variety of reasons. Mainly, Western Red Cedar is resistant
to the risks of insects, rot, cracking and shrinkage normally associated
with Pine and Hemlock.

Exposed Douglas Fir rafters are joined by the tongue and fork method.

a rigid, spacious structure with high vaulted ceilings and abundant

A large, open glass
gable gathers views and captures
the first light of day. A deck, balcony and covered porch
are complimented by Valle Crucis views. All masonry surfaces

High quality components and appointments
are utilized throughout the home. Basic wiring, plumbing and heating
meets, but in most cases
exceeds building code. Schlage® door hardware;
Frigidaire® appliances; Grohe®, American Standard®, and
Toto® fixtures are all standard and are brands regarded for quality.
Countertops are granite and cabinets are solid wood. All hard floor
surfaces are oversized porcelain tile or hardwood (no vinyl, less
expensive ceramic tile, or softwoods like pine.) All masonry surfaces
are natural stone.
